2025-09-26 – Beton Weekly Update
Inside: product launch, first traction and participation in pre-accelerator programme
Hi,
It’s Vlad, founder of Beton. It’s an open source Clay.com alternative.
We’re doing our first touches with the market and have (kinda) launched our MVP!
Now, onto the last week’s progress:
Traction
First things first — we got our first $150 sale. On top of that, we have ~$4K of pipeline at the stage “saw the pricing, waiting for final decision”.
Getting first paying customer that early was challenging in my previous startup. It’s a good sign that company/product idea may be valid.
Still, there’s a ton of work before I’d say we have proper traction — with flat revenue cohort curves and pricing that keeps us at least default alive.
Company
On the company side, we became a part of Future Founders by S16 & Ellipsis Ventures. It is a program for founders who are yet to raise their first check.
We’re not raising yet, but it’s a great playground to polish the pitch and get a ton of feedback.

Launch & product
The cloud version is live — but please BYOK as I haven’t paid for my production API keys (yet).
I had to learn how to deploy and juggle DNS records on the go, but thanks to Webflow, Posthog, Railway and Cloudlfare it was quite easy.
We’ve also laid out Beton in its current state on GitHub. The app is now available as MIT-licensed docker.
First version has:
Apollo.io, Findymail, LeadData and OpenAI integrations
CSV import/export

If you are a founder of B2B sales agency or a B2B SaaS founder who does cold outreach by themselves — happy to cut your costs on lead enrichment 2x.
Next week plans
Run the pilots
Unify navigation in the app
Ask
The best help you can give me and Beton for now is to star the repo on GitHub. It really helps us get discovered
Also, I’m still looking for a technical founder who wants to work on open source SaaS. Vibecoding is fun and I’m looking for a technical co-founder to take most of this fun away from me.
If you are one — I’m all ears. If you know one — please, forward this email to them. Happy to pay a finders fee if your intro works out.
All the best,
Vlad
